I’m back from filming in Sierra Leone where I travelled across the country, hosted by Hurrarc (Human Rights Respect Awareness Raising Campaigners), a NGO dealing with human rights. An hard but intense experience in a nation that just few years ago went out from one of the most violent civil wars of these last years.
Soon a documentary with some of the witnesses I collected, such as a pacifist army soldier who’s leaving to a Darfur mission, a human right activist, a member of a tribe royal family, a genital mutilated woman studying midwifery and diamond mines workers.
